World Congress on Social Simulation 2008 WCSS 2008

July 14-17, 2008, George Mason University, Fairfax, USA

  • Location: George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia
  • Dates: July 14-17, 2008

  • The second World Congress on Social Simulation (WCSS-08) is a unique opportunity for researchers in social simulation to present their work to a global and interdisciplinary scientific community. WCSS-08 is sponsored by the three regional scientific associations on social simulations: NAACSOS (North America); ESSA (Europe); and PAAA (Pacific and Asia). The local organizer of the 2008 world congress is the Center for Social Complexity at George Mason University.

We expect a large participation from the members of these associations as well as social simulation colleagues from elsewhere in the world. This second WCSS will take place in Washington DC and builds on the highly successful first congress hosted in 2006 at Kyoto University, Japan. Early registration is highly encouraged.
