NetEst

NetEst is a desktop computer investigative tool that estimates the size and structure of networked and cellular organizations from disparate data sources. NetEst estimates where data is missing and provides valuable information to investigators on the capabilities of such an organization. NetEst will use a combination of multi-agent technology, Bayesian updating, Biased Net Models, and social network metrics. NetEst provides valuable information on the individual capabilities and roles of individuals in networked and cellular organizations, thereby estimating the capabilities of cellular units in the organization and defining the context of relationships between individuals in the organization. NetEst will also estimate the cost/benefit of additional information in different section of the composite network.
